Flexible climbing system for more efficiency in the concrete construction industry
New development from PASCHAL:
The PASCHAL Group, specializing in concrete formwork, shoring systems and formwork design software globally, extends their product range with the new climbing system. The new development supports the efficiency and cost effectiveness of climbing systems insomuch that they adjust flexibly to the structure geometry and permit larger formwork units. PASCHAL presents the new product to a larger audience for the first time at the bauma 2010, from the 19th to 25th April in Munich. After the bauma the system is available through the international distribution and numerous commercial partners of the PASCHAL Group. The flexible, deployable climbing system developed by PASCHAL can be adjusted by up to +/- 15 degrees on the geometry of the structure and, thus, are suitable for numer-ous applications in the residential and industrial construction industry, for example, also for special requirements in bridge construction. The systems feature a high load-bearing capacity, so that larger formwork units can be transposed and, therefore, valuable time and costs can be saved. Generous working space in front of and behind the formwork ensures a high degree of safety at work, in accordance with the latest safety standards. Each system is of a modular construction so that, depending on the intended use, the combinable individual components, such as horizontal beam, vertical girder, diagonal props, carriage and suspended scaffold can be assembled. A further advantage of the modular construction is the feature that they dismantle into manageable individual com-ponents, so that the climbing units are small to transport and store. Durable hot-dip galvanizing was selected as the surface protection for the individual components, which ensures a long service life and functionality.
