The 7th Hoch³ Company Run
The seventh Hoch³ Company Run took place on Friday, 22nd July on a course around the Königswald Lake close to Offenburg Airport in Germany. The run was completed by participants from companies or authorities in groups of three (men, women or mixed), with each participant completing the 2.8km-long circuit twice. The event was hosted by the “Zweckverband Gewerbepark Offenburg" (‘Offenburg Industrial Estate Special-Purpose Association’), which originally initiated the run in order to boost the profile of the area. It was most definitely a successful initiative, with the number of participants increasing annually and over 800 runners taking part in 2011.
PASCHAL was represented at the Hoch³ Company Run by two teams: Team 1 was formed by Michael Makain, Céline Myrvold and Michael Walter and Team 2 consisted of Martin Ketterer, Christina Lamsfuß and André Müller.
The fastest runner in the overall PASCHAL Team was Michael Walter, who achieved an impressive 105th place overall. From the total of around 280 teams participating in the event, PASCHAL Team 2 managed to achieve 39th place!
