Started one month late, and still delivered on schedule!

In building a sports hall, Multip and Logo brought a time saving of 25%: completion in only three months, instead of the four months scheduled.

The concrete lorry will be here in just a few minutes, and all the formwork must be up and tight when it gets here! Only a few minutes, and once again the crane brings over an enormous formwork element. The working platform including handrails, floor, hatchway and escape ladder are already fitted; it doesn't take long before the element is integrated into the high wall. Almost at the same instant, the working platform is safe and can already be walked on. And here comes the next huge element. The site foreman has his building site well under control - he seems to be everywhere at once! With every instruction he improves the efficiency - puts something straight here, there he nips up a thread a little tighter... the hammering is coming from all over the place and just never seems to stop.


The large Logo element together with the Multip is now lifted into its place. Docking for the Logo/Multip combination is no difficulty.

Gries (Alsace):

For decades virtually a forgotten area on the border, it has now been developing faster than the average for some years. There are now modern industrial and municipal buildings springing up all over the place.

In the community of Gries, near Strasbourg, Sotravest S.A.S. recently built a 6,000 square-metre sports and general purpose hall for 2,000 spectators.

One problem was that the building, originally scheduled for four months, could not start until a month later than planned. Even in spite of this, it was possible to keep to the planned delivery date by putting in extra work, efficient delegation of tasks and the use of time-saving equipment and complete the shell within only three months. This all meant speeding up the works by 50%! At the same time, the safety regulations still had to be observed - and these are even stricter in France than those in Germany. A decisive factor in this success was the choice of formwork.

The system selected, the PASCHAL Logo system formwork, was particularly suitable for the requirements imposed by this site on account of its design. The Logo is a lightweight, especially easily-handled flat steel framed formwork which, despite its modest thickness of only 12 centimetres can withstand a concrete pressure of 60 kN/m². With element heights of 270, 240, 135 and 75 centimetres and element widths of 90, 75, 60, 55, 50, 45, 40, 30, 25 and 20 centimetres it offers s selections of sizes to solve even complicated formwork problems. On top of this, there are fitting elements integral with the system, so that formwork can be creates accurate to exactly 1 cm without having to use any locally-improvised fittings.

To avoid as far as possible repeated assembly and dismantling, combinations of large elements measuring 2.40 metres x 2.70 metres were used, to which multi-functional Multip working platforms were already mounted. The Multip arrives at the building site if desired already fitted up to the formwork, and to save transport space it is suitably folded down. On the site, it is erected and assembled with only a few moves, and thanks to its fixed fittings, ladders. handrails and escape hatches offers virtually immediate top-class safety with formwork and equipment all within easy reach. Even while being resited, the Multip can stay assembled to the formwork. Through use of the Multip, a building site becomes quicker, safer and more efficient.
