On-the-spot safety with the LOGO wall formwork

For decades, the work space for wall formwork has typically looked like this: planks are placed on L-shaped platform brackets, which are individually assembled onto the erected wall formwork, and boards are installed as lateral protection. Not only is valuable time spent until everything is individually installed, but this also does not necessarily establish the level of safety mandated by legislation.
PASCHAL has now developed the so-called LOGO concreting platform to close this gap.

PASCHAL, the Baden based formwork manufacturer and service provider has developed a new concreting platform for the LOGO formwork. The platform is 238 cm long and 120 cm wide, therefore providing a sufficiently large workspace on the wall formwork. The LOGO concreting platform consolidates all individual components for a safe working platform into a single unit: board, lateral protection, lifting eyes (for crane transport), and load support brackets.

Easily unfolded

1. Once it is brought to the construction site, the guard rail post of the concreting platform is unfolded in a single motion and then secured.
2. The two support brackets are then deployed. These are used to attach the concreting platform to the formwork.
3. The total platform weighs approx. 115 kg and is lifted to the 2.40 m wide formwork in a single crane cycle. While suspended, the platform is rigged on a four-stranded lifting harness, which is hooked to the four crane lifting eyes designed for this purpose.
4. The installation is fast and simple.

Benefits: The concreting platform is installed faster than the individual components. There are fewer accessories, thus minimizing formwork labor and lost materials. Boards no longer need to be delivered to the site. The time without protection on the platform is drastically reduced and the safety at work is increased.

Logistics and transport

In spite of its size, the individual platform is only 19.5 cm in height when folded for transport. It is therefore significantly lower than comparable products from other manufacturers. The next platform can be placed into the somewhat lower interior section, so that this unit only measures an incremental 14.5 cm in height. Four concreting platforms stacked on top of each other are only 63.5 cm in height.
Due to its dimensions, only relatively few concreting platforms are needed even for large wall surfaces.
